Have tested on the bench with no BB's full auto and increased rate of fire to 1200 rpm. To be honest when using it I almost expect a knock on the door, even on semi auto you can squeeze rounds off at an incredible rate, sounds just like a machine gun. Great fun and even more so with the green laser attached.
Yes have had the Drozd for a couple of weeks now. I know in my bones this is pointless but would just like to see the act that makes it clear. I can see regulations banning full auto in a firearm but cannot see one banning full auto in an Airweapon. As I understand it a gun of less than 6 / 12 Ft lbs powered by air or CO2 is classed as an airweapon. I do not think the type of projectile matters, so surely a full auto paintball gun should be illegal in the UK?įinally which includes the Drozd. So what about paintball guns which also fire on full auto? These have muzzle velocities of up to 10J. The main defence with Airsoft seems to be that at less than 1J they are toys and as such not or firearms? At which point you dont have to bother to read or attempt to understand the regulations!
